The best XCM cyclists meet at the 13th edition of the event

Hans Becking, Wout Alleman, Tiago Ferreira, Fabian Rabensteiner and Sergio Mantecón are some of the big names who will be on the start line in Jaén on 27 February.

Year after year, the Andalucía Bike Race by GARMIN welcomes the best national and international cyclists in the XCM discipline. For yet another year, and this is the 13th, the Andalusian event welcomes them all. It is sure to be an edition full of surprises, theatre and pure XCM.

Starting with one of the most illustrious names of this event, the two-time European Champion and World Champion, Tiago Ferreira. Together with his partner, the Cypriot Andreas Miltadis and his team, DMT Black Jack, he will be looking to get rid of last year's thorn in his side, where several misfortunes kept him out of the fight for the title.

Another pair that stands out among the main favourites is the Belgian Wout Alleman and the current European Champion, Fabian Rabensteiner, from Wilier-Pirelli Factory. A tandem that knows each other perfectly, that already competed in the last edition achieving three stage victories and that, without any doubt, will be among the favourites for the final victory.

The BUFF ® - MEGAMO MTB TEAM couple team, Hans Becking and José Días, will try to avoid it. The Dutchman and the Portuguese know each other perfectly and know the terrain. Winning formula.

On the national level, there are several names that stand out and that, as usual, will fight for the top positions in the classification. In its second season of existence, SCOTT - CALA BANDIDA will be another squad to watch out for with Sergio Mantecón, the Spanish XCM Champion, and Francesc Guerra as his partner. On the other hand, andalusians José Mari Sánchez and Pablo Guerrero want to be prophets in their own land.

As Miguel Muñoz wants to be with the renewed Cannondale TB, which arrives with the desire to give war. Muñoz will ride with the young but experienced Roberto Bou. Francisco Herrero and Raúl Bermúdez will also be in the fight for the best.
