The Andalucía eBike Ride is back

For all those cyclists who bet on electric bikes, on Saturday 25th February, you can enjoy a beautiful route around Córdoba.

The Andalucía eBike Ride has already become a tradition in the run-up to the Andalucía Bike Race by GARMIN. After the success of the three previous editions, held in La Guardia de Jaén, Martos and Andújar, the 2023 event will take place in Córdoba, being held for the first time in the province of Córdoba.

The route, of around 31 kilometres and 900 metres of climbing, will last approximately three hours and will be of an intermediate level. It will not be competitive and will have two refreshment posts. The first will be halfway along the route, at kilometre 16 in Trasierra, and the other will take place at the end to share sensations.

The start and finish of the Andalucía eBike Ride will be from the Ayre Hotel (Córdoba), and the bibs will be handed in the same day from 9:00h to 9:30h, with the start at 10:00h.

For all those interested, registrations are now open and are limited to 25 participants and at a price of 25€, so that you can enjoy a unique and very special day. During the route, you will be accompanied by 2 guides, and you will have free mechanical assistance before and during the route.

It is worth mentioning that this registration does not require federation insurance as the price includes medical insurance in case of accident, nor does it include a participant's jersey. Each participant must bring their own electric bicycle.

Where it will take place

We will leave from the Hotel Ayre towards El Reventón, passing through the Patriarca park and towards the wolf trail to Asuán, where we will turn off along the popcorn trail to the Bejarano stream, to enter Trasierra, where the refreshment point will be located (Km 16). Once we leave Trasierra, we will enter the snow well to link up with the Trasierra path, the Fangor forest and passing through the gypsy stream, one of the most technical areas we will pass through during the day. To finish, we will continue along the green belt to the Parque Periurbano del Patriarca and arrive back at the Hotel Ayre.

We will ride along the usual sections of the Andalucía Bike Race by GARMIN, both in this edition and in previous editions.
